This course will provide an outline of the retrofit process and is a great way for you to learn a new skill that is integral to maintaining industry standards.
It will teach you how to recognise problems in buildings, carry out remedial actions to resolve issues safely and provide the skills to correctly insulate internal walls and floors in buildings.
The following topics will be covered:
Damp proofing, condensation and timber preservation
Internal wall insulation and ground floor insulation
Introduction to surveying properties and thermal assessments
The course will take place on the following dates: 30th and 31st May, or 1st and 2nd June.
