Bryn Lawrence is a first-year Level 3 Sports student that is currently on track to have a fantastic cycling career.
This course is a broad-based practical business qualification which is intended for those who are seeking an alternative to a Foundation Degree or Degree and who wish to combine study and part-time work.
This high-quality programme is centred around project management and
will allow you to gain the specific knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to
successfully manage and lead the work of a team. Achieving this higher-level
qualification could support you to thrive in a range of sectors which have a
demand for project managers including construction, manufacturing, finance and
insurance, management and professional services and information services.

This course is delivered by lecturers who have relevant business experience. The team may be complemented by guest speakers who are also working within the related industry.
Upon completion of this qualification, you may progress onto employment in a range of roles including a trainee manager role for a retail outlet, department leader and work in a range of industries including insurance, finance, sales and marketing.
You
may also progress onto further study including the BTEC Level 5, HND in Business or other Level 5
pathways. To progress from the BTEC Level 4 HNC to the BTEC Level 5 HND you will
need to successfully complete your BTEC Level 4 HNC. Progression to the BTEC Level 5 HND Diploma
at Bury College University Centre is subject to validation and conditional on
group sizes being educationally and/or economically viable.
