Bury College Art students bring colour to Rose Court Care Home
Our second-year Textiles and Fine Art pathway students recently visited Rose Court Care Home to run a series of arts and crafts workshops.

The course has been specifically designed to ready you for employment by combining practical projects and industry skills with higher-level research techniques.
You will gain an understanding of how the film, broadcast and digital media industries work, and to learn how historical developments and contexts have informed production techniques. Above all, you will build a body of work that prepares you for entry into the media workplace.

You are assessed in a variety of ways including written, practical and creative production work done individually (presentations, creative and career portfolios) and in groups (videos, production planning). Written work will include research projects, files, academic essays, critical self-reflection logs and evaluations.

Since leaving us, William Hardman has travelled the world working as a self-employed video technician and camera operator in the music and live events industry.
In addition to excelling in her studies, a Bury College Sports student has been busy representing England in Athletics.
