About the vacancy

Immediate start for an Apprentice to work as a member of the staff team to contribute to the care of the residents at Castlerea House, ensuring both their physical and emotional needs are taken into account.

  • To work as part of a friendly, hard working team.
  • To assist in promoting the dignity and self awareness of residents
  • To build relationships with the residents.
  • To work within the organisation’s structured rotas, which may include evening and weekend shifts
  • To undertake the domestic tasks identified in the schedule of duties, and any other reasonable tasks given.  These will include amongst others, supporting residents at appointments, facilitating activities at home and outside in the community.

You will receive the following training:

Adult Care Worker Level 2 Apprenitceship Standard

This is a work-based qualification although you may be required to attend College for functional skills.

The starting salary is £9,984.00 for 32 hours Mon – Thurs with every other weekend. (4 days per week).

The apprenticeship will run for 15 Months, starting on Monday, January 23 2023. Applications close on Friday, January 13 2023.
