Yes. Many of our courses are in high demand, so the sooner you get your application in, the better your chances of securing a place.
Yes, you can apply for more than one course; many of our A Level students also apply for a Vocational course as a back-up. It’s always good to have options!
You do not need to apply for multiple levels in the same curriculum area. Just apply for the course you want to study that best fits your predicted grades and our tutors will discuss this further at your information advice and guidance appointment.
All of them! We need to see all of your predicted grades to be able to see which courses you should be able to meet entry requirements for. If you don’t provide them all this could delay your application being processed.
This is an opportunity for you to tell us a bit more about yourself!
Include personal qualities and skills you have, plus it’s a chance to tell us about any volunteering/work experience, and extra-curricular activities and achievements from inside or outside of school. You can also add some detail about why you have chosen to apply for the course(s) you have picked. It doesn’t have to be lengthy, just key points so we can learn more about you.
Apprenticeships are open all year round so you can apply at the time that is right for you and our team can help guide you through the process. Employers are looking for applicants all year round – you can see current vacancies on our website here.
Once you’ve applied, you will be invited to an information event to explain apprenticeships further. It’s important that you secure employment to start your Apprenticeship and this session will help advise you on this process.
You can make changes to your application easily, simply contact the admissions team with any changes you need to make at admissions@burycollege.ac.uk or call 0161 280 8200.
Firstly, don’t worry. Our tutors are experienced with this, it happens often. We have a variety of different levels of courses available and can guide you to the right course to fit your grade profile.
You will receive your formal offer via email within 2 weeks of your Information, Advice and Guidance appointment. This will outline the entry requirements for the course you discussed so be sure to keep it for reference.
We will always arrange an appointment for your first choice course, then during this appointment the tutor will ask you whether you would like to discuss any of your other options. At this stage your additional appointment will be requested and our Admissions Team will be in touch with further details.
If you are in your final year of school or college and considering an apprenticeship, please complete the online application form.
