On this course you will learn about how it can affect the ways people communicate, interact and process information. Learners will also learn how to support autistic people to live healthy and fulfilled lives.
Learners can increase awareness of Mental Health problems with this fully online Level 2 course.
You will gain new knowledge and skills for your personal life as well as your career. It covers lots of different mental health problems, including stress, anxiety, phobias, depression, dementia, eating disorders and schizophrenia. You’ll learn about the signs and symptoms of different mental health conditions and how to manage them, as well as gaining an understanding of mental health legislation and guidance.
In this Principles of Dementia Care Level 2 course, you will learn all about the varied approaches to dementia care. You’ll gain insight into how dementia affects the way people behave and interact, as well as how best to communicate with people who have dementia.
Principles of End of Life Care Level 2 will give you the knowledge you need to perform your role as a care worker for people approaching the end of their lives. You will learn how to support and manage pain and discomfort, as well as gaining insight into the impact of dementia on end-of-life care. You'll start to develop the compassionate skills needed for supporting family and friends with the loss and grief process.
This Level 2 course is aimed at those who want to work in local authorities, schools, colleges, uniformed services or health and social care needs to be aware of safeguarding and the Prevent duty and how to include these principles in their day-to-day work practices. It will give you a greater awareness of the Safeguarding and the Prevent duty, the responsibilities and procedures involved, and how to raise concerns effectively.
