Bury College is proud to have the support of the whole of our college community in raising funds for a range of charities, both national and regional.

Typical fundraising activities from our staff and students includes the donation of food items and other products to local foodbanks and networks, supporting national charity events like Wear a Hat Day for Brain Tumour Research, and challenging themselves to complete the 7 Step Marathon Challenge for Comic Relief.

As a college, we have raised significant funds for the below charities between Aug 21 - June 22:

  • Alzheimer's (£188.39)
  • Mermaids (£38.35)
  • Red Nose Day (£78.02)
  • Children In Need (£389.38)
  • Comic Relief (£24.76)
  • Show Racism The Red Card (£42.21)
  • Feed the World (£100.92)
