Well done for achieving the results you need for the courses you currently hold an offer for.

In order to begin the enrolment process, you need to have completed Step One. Completing Step One will generate your enrolment appointment.

If you have already completed Step One, on GCSE Results Day (21st August) please complete Step Two by uploading your results to the Student Enrolment Portal.

It is vital that you upload your results on 21st August and that you attend your enrolment appointment to secure your place.

Don’t worry if your results haven’t worked out how you’d hoped; there are still plenty of ways you can study with us at Bury College.

Please upload your results to the Student Enrolment Portal and find more information below, depending on the type of course you were holding an offer for.

Vocational Courses

If you still want to study in the same subject area, attend your enrolment appointment to discuss your options with our friendly and supportive team.

However, if you have decided you would like to change to a different course area, please telephone the Course Query Team on 0161 280 8300, who will be able to arrange an appointment with the new curriculum team.

If you have access to an electronic device but need some assistance completing your details, please telephone the Online Help Team on 0161 280 8202.

This team are also able to take your details over the phone if you can’t access a device.

If you would prefer to come into college for a face-to-face appointment, please telephone the Admissions Team on 0161 280 8200, who will arrange this for you.

 

I’ve applied but I’m not holding an offer

I’ve not received my enrolment time and date

Firstly, please check you have completed Step One of your enrolment in our Student Portal. If Step One is not completed, you should do this as soon as possible, then complete Step Two once you have all of your results. The Admissions Team will then arrange an appointment for you. You will receive an email to notify you of this date/time.

If you have completed Step One, your appointment time will have been emailed to you and your parent/carer contacts. If you have not received yours, please telephone the Admissions Team on 0161 280 8200.

Once you have been made an offer to study with us, after applying for a study programme, you will need to enrol.

Enrolment is where you confirm and finalise your place as a student at the College.

If you are already holding an offer, you should have an appointment to attend the College to enrol on either Thursday 21st or Friday 22nd August.

The College is open as below for any enquirers that have yet to enrol:

  • Thursday 21st August, 10.00am - 6.30pm
  • Friday 22nd August, 10.00am - 4.30pm
  • Tuesday 26th August, 10.00am - 6.30pm
  • Wednesday 27th August, 10.00am - 4.30pm
  • Thursday 28th August, 10.00am - 2.30pm

If you are already holding an offer, you should have been emailed an appointment time to attend the College to enrol on either Thursday 21st or Friday 22nd August. It is vital that you attend this appointment in order to secure your place.

If you are already aware that you cannot attend your appointment to enrol, please contact our Admissions Team now to let them know, by calling: 0161 280

8200 or emailing them: admissions@burycollege.ac.uk. Please still follow Step Two and upload your GCSE results to the Student Portal on 21st August.

If something crops up on the day of your appointment, please still follow Step Two and upload your GCSE results to the Student Portal on 21st August. You must also contact the Admissions Team as soon as is possible to rearrange your appointment.

Please note that your place may be at risk if you do not attend your appointment.

The enrolment process involves attending a face-to-face appointment at College in order to finalise and secure your place on the course that you have applied for. You will have a discussion with a tutor from the course area that you have applied to. This is to ensure that the course still meets your career aims and is the right level for the results you have achieved.

If you are an applicant, please bring the following with you when you come in to enrol:

  • proof of ID
  • proof of exam results including English and Maths
  • student support evidence (such as proof of benefits)
  • method of payment (where appropriate)
