Bury College is proud to introduce an exciting after school club for pupils with a flair for Hair and Beauty and for those interested in pursuing a career within the industry. These sessions will allow pupils to learn and develop skills in manicuring, basic make-up techniques and temporary hair colouring. In the final week there will be a competition to showcase the new skills they have learnt. Monday evenings 5pm-7pm, 4- 6 week course, £4 per session. Beginner and Advance classes available.

Develop your cooking skills and learn how to make tasty starters, mains and desserts! Become skilled at cooking healthy and delicious dishes in a professional kitchen. Junior Chef Club at Bury College takes place over several weeks and you must be available to attend the full course.

16th January 2019 - for five consecutive weeks

Make friends, have fun and develop a range of great new skills at our fabulous Performing Arts Academy. This afterschool workshops are designed for 14-16 year olds with a flair and passion for performing arts and who wish to develop their existing skills. Our engaging training classes, run by industry professionals, help you to hone your singing, dancing and/or acting abilities. At the end of each five week course you will showcase your new-found performance skills to family and friends in an end of course celebratory performance. 

Day: Tuesdays

Time: 4pm-6pm (until 7pm on the last session)

Price: £20 per course

Available for Year 9 - Year 11 pupils.

This event is the ideal opportunity for pupils, parents, carers and school teaching staff of pupils who have learning difficulties and disabilities, or for those who require additional support, to find out more about the courses and the support that is available at Bury College. There will also be the chance to find out how we support students with autism and social/communication difficulties.

27th February 2019 - for five consecutive weeks

Uncover essential apprenticeship and professional development opportunities for new and existing staff.

Our Travel, Catering and Performing Arts students will be hosting 'An Evening in Tuscany' on 21st March 2019. 

This night will consist of a student presentation about the features Tuscany has to offer followed by Travel Counsellor​ Pete Whitehead who will be sharing some package holiday ideas. 

After this our catering students will be offering a 3 course evening meal of Tuscan dishes, during which, the evening entertainment will be provided by our Performing Arts students.
