To ensure a smooth start to your Carpentry & Joinery programme, we have arranged for you to view and purchase the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for practical lessons.
PPE is a mandatory requirement for all Carpentry & Joinery students. The required kit depends on your level:
Level 1 – £35

Steel toe cap boots are a mandatory requirement for Carpentry & Joinery courses.
You must purchase your own safety boots independently.
You will also need to bring:
Stationery should be purchased independently.
Lockers are available to hire for a refundable £10 deposit. The deposit will be returned when the locker key is handed back.

The college can provide financial assistance for purchasing uniform and/or equipment resources through the Financial Support Schemes (i.e. bursary) – Details of which will be provided and discussed at enrolment. Any further information required regarding financial support available can be found on our Student Support page. The student services team will also be available during enrolment.
