About the vacancy

Immediate start to join our small and friendly team within a well-established nursery in Prestwich. You will be working in the nursery alongside a professional and experienced team, learning a range of skills to develop a career working in an Early Year's setting. You will receive high-quality training in all aspects of childcare.

You will be trained to a high standard in all duties required of you involving keeping the children safe and enhancing their learning and play. This will include:

• Ensuring the safety of children at all times
• Supervising outdoor play
• Supervising snacks and lunch
• Supporting development through play
• Carry out activities with the children
• Preparing and feeding children
• Keeping the nursery clean
• To attend additional mandatory training to help with the role and on-going CPD
• Ensuring Safeguarding Procedures are followed
• You will be supported throughout your training

You will receive the following training:

• Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
• College attendance is required one day a month
