Baerlocher UK originally founded over 50 years ago in 1973. Represents the Baerlocher group of companies within the PVC markets of the United Kingdom and the Irish Republic.

Baerlocher manufactures PVC additive mixtures based upon calcium-based PVC stabilisers technology where in addition our technical laboratory is located together with our dedicated and experienced team of PVC specialists.

This is an entry-level role supported by government's youth employment schemes available for 16 – 24 year olds. About the vacancy

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time, office-based Business Administrator Apprentice to join our friendly and growing team. You will act as a central support function within the business, helping to ensure that day-to-day operations run efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance and customer service.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Providing general office and administrative support, including answering calls, welcoming visitors, managing correspondence and maintaining filing systems.
  • Maintaining accurate records, databases, spreadsheets and company documentation, ensuring information is up to date and easily accessible.
  • Supporting document control, quality management and compliance processes, including the retention of records in line with company procedures and ISO requirements.
  • Assisting with customer service activities by responding to enquiries, providing updates and maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Providing cover and support for sales order processing activities, ensuring customer orders are entered accurately and communicated across relevant departments.
  • Supporting finance administration through invoice processing, credit control assistance, record maintenance and month-end administration.
  • Working closely with operational departments including Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality and Sales to support business processes and information flow.
  • Assisting with reporting, stock administration, meeting coordination and other business support activities as required.
  • Following company Health & Safety procedures, GDPR requirements and confidentiality standards while contributing to a safe, organised and professional working environment.

You will receive the following training:

  • Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
  • This is a work-based qualification, with college attendance one day a month.

The starting salary is £16,575 a year for 37.5 hours Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm..

The apprenticeship will run for 1 Year 9 Months.
