Sociology is the study of human societies and how they interact to shape people’s beliefs, behaviours and identity. Academics claim sociology is more than a subject - it’s a whole way of seeing the world!

These courses have been designed to support you to progress onto university as well as careers in a variety of fields. Subject related topics and guest speakers will also feature as part of your study programme.

You will also engage in the Positive Futures Careers Programme, developing key employability skills through a diverse range of activities including work placements, volunteering, employer talks, industry study visits and employment and university fairs.

For A-level programmes: 6 GCSEs at grade 9-4 (to include 3 GCSEs at grade 9-4 and 3 GCSEs at grade 9-5). Require grade 9-4 in English Language and Maths.
For A-level Sociology: Grade 9-5 English Language
