Our specialist Engineering qualifications are for those who wish to pursue a career in the diverse world of Engineering. These courses are designed to provide you with a good knowledge and understanding of Engineering whilst developing the skills required to prepare you for employment or progression into further study. Engineering Level 3 is a specialist qualification for students who wish to pursue a career or higher education route in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering.

- Advanced engineering project
- Programmable logic controllers
- Producing sheet metal fabrications

You have the unique opportunity to progress onto the Engineering HNC course at Bury College University Centre and/or progress into careers including:

Personal
Protective Equipment will need to be purchased at enrolment at a cost of £27,
you will also need to purchase a pair of steel toe-capped safety boots.
Lockers are available to hire for the year by paying a refundable deposit of £10
at enrolment. There will also be study visits that you are required to
contribute to.

For Level 3 Engineering Technologies: 5 GCSEs at grade 9-4 (including Maths, English Language and Science) OR GCSE 9-4 in Maths, English Language & Science plus a Merit on the Level 2 Engineering Course.
