This career-enhancing UAL Performing and Production Arts Level 2 course is an exciting exploration of the vocational study of Performing Arts.
As part of your professional pathway you will have the opportunity to experience, and specialise in Acting, Dance and Musical Theatre. You will work individually and as part of a team within a performance environment. You will learn to develop a professional approach to all aspects of the entertainment industry. You will also have the opportunity to go on theatre trips and take part in workshops with external practitioners from the industry
The topics studied on this course are:

- Communicating with an audience
- Staging a performance
- Contextual research for performance
- Performance skills and practice
- Personal project
- Presentation and producing
- Performing to an audience
These
courses have a range of practical coursework units. These are followed by a
practical final major project that will gain you a Pass, Merit or
Distinction. Learner will be aware at what level they are working towards
throughout the course.

Costs
may incur for external trips and visits. Specialist dance equipment is used for
various dance classes.

For Level 2 Performing Arts: 4 GCSEs at grade 9-3. A degree of performance ability demonstrated in an audition.
