What equipment do I need?
- Pens, pads and paper at all times
- Lever arch folder for any documents and to help keep you organised
Clothing
For ALL classes, all black uniform is a requirement:
- There is a cost for 2 specific black Bury College Performing Arts T-shirts. These are essential, particularly when you go out on tours, trips or competitions. You will purchase these from the college.
- Other items you will need to purchase separately are – black leggings/jogging bottoms, black footwear (jazz shoes, black trainers, pumps…)
- There may be other mandatory cost for certain uniform/equipment for specific sessions, but your tutors will let you know when/if these are required (e.g. tap shoes for tap).
- Finally, the purchase of a padlock is required for a college locker that will be issued to you. (Please note, the padlock is completely your own responsibility, the college does not provide padlocks and/or keys.) Padlocks with codes are recommended.
Financial Support
The college can provide financial assistance for purchasing uniform and/or equipment resources through the Financial Support Schemes (i.e. bursary) – Details of which will be provided and discussed at enrolment. Any further information required regarding financial support available can be found on our Student Support page. The student services team will also be available during enrolment.
