An A Level in Law will give you a detailed insight into the workings of criminals, the law and the legal personnel involved
You will be exposed to some complex concepts and ideas to provoke and stimulate you. In addition, you will also gain high-level thinking skills valued in all employment fields, which will support your higher education and career goals.
You will study the following topics:
The setting of rules by judges and how Acts are interpreted by judges, alongside offences and defences to crimes
How laws are made by Parliament and the law of negligence
The law of contract

You will also engage in the Positive Futures Careers Programme, developing key employability skills through a diverse range of activities including work placements, volunteering, employer talks, industry study visits and employment and university fairs.
For A-level programmes: 6 GCSEs at grade 9-4 (to include 3 GCSEs at grade 9-4 and 3 GCSEs at grade 9-5). Require grade 9-4 in English Language and Maths.
