Mulberry Bush Nursery Group have been working with Bury College for a number of years, hiring and training childcare Apprentices. The partnership has provided learners with amazing opportunities and resulted in thriving careers.
Following the success of last year's event, Bury College are inviting individuals who are passionate about education and committed to making a positive impact to explore career opportunities within its supportive community.
The Work for Us event takes place on Monday 9th February 2026, from 5.00-7.00pm and is designed to give prospective candidates an insight into what it’s like to work at Bury College.
Many current employees have found their way to Bury College through previous Work for Us events. Sandra Smith, a Student Information Administrator, shared her experience: "I came to the event, and everyone was lovely, friendly, and they showed me to the department I would like to work in. Then, about four months later a position did become available. My favourite benefits of working at the college are the pension, and the fact we shut down for two weeks for the Christmas holiday. It’s lovely to be able to spend some time at home with my family."
