St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy Trust currently consists of 20 primary and four secondary schools, further schools will join us during this academic year, and we will grow over the coming years.
The Trust is part of the Salford Diocese and in September 2022, Bishop John Arnold confirmed that it is his intention that the Diocese work to implement a full multi academy trust model by 2030.

The ideal candidate would need to have a strong ambition to work in education in the responsible role of Teaching Assistant. You will receive the following training:
On completion of the apprenticeship you will be qualified as a Teaching Assistant Level 3 may be offered a full time position as a at a school within the Multi Academy Trust.
The starting salary is £15,434 a year for 32.5 hours Monday to Friday, 8.15am - 3.00pm. It is a Term Time only role + 1 training day (September)..
The apprenticeship will run for 1 Year 6 Months.

Bury College welcomed learners from 12 Greater Manchester colleges for the GM Skills Foundation Studies Competition, where students showcased creative heritage-inspired projects and took part in a collaborative team challenge. The event celebrated student creativity, confidence, and community.
Bury College hosted the GM Skills Construction Competition on Friday 13th March 2026, with students from nine colleges competing across Plastering, Bricklaying, Carpentry and Joinery, Electrical Installation, Painting and Decorating, and Plumbing, showcasing top skills and earning multiple wins.
