To ensure a smooth start to your Plumbing (Construction) programme, we have arranged for you to be able to view and purchase Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) prior to the commencement of your course.
We are providing two options to students.
Bury college overall– £21.60 Excluding VAT + £2.50 embroidery excluding VAT.
Safety glasses - £1.78 excluding VAT.
Gloves - £0.67 excluding VAT.
This option is for students who have already completed a course and are advancing onto another level
Bury college long sleeved top/t-shirt – £4.75 Excluding VAT + £2.50 embroidery excluding VAT.
Work pants - £18.75 excluding VAT
Safety glasses - £1.78 excluding VAT.
Gloves - £0.67 excluding VAT.
If students already own or would like to purchase their own work pants independently, they can but would need to be of an appropriate standard.
Lockers can be purchased at a cost of £10 which is returnable.
Steel toe cap boots are a mandatory requirement for these courses. These are to be purchased independently - advice will be given at enrolment.

In certain circumstances, the college can provide financial assistance for purchasing kit and/or equipment resources through the Financial Support Schemes – details of which are included in the enrolment pack.  If you have any further questions regarding the financial support available, please enquire with Student Services at enrolment.
