To ensure a smooth start to your Plastering (Construction) programme, you will be required to purchase Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as part of the requirements of your course.
The PPE required for this course is detailed below and will be discussed further during enrolment with the Curriculum team.
Lockers can be purchased at a cost of £10 which is returnable.
Steel toe cap boots are a mandatory requirement for these courses. These are to be purchased independently - advice will be given at enrolment.
Please visit https://store.burycollege.ac.uk/ to view and purchase the required uniform and pay your deposit for the locker. Please note, PPE may not be available to purchase until this has been discussed during enrolment.
In certain circumstances, the college can provide financial assistance for purchasing kit and/or equipment resources through the Financial Support Schemes – details of which are included in the enrolment pack. If you have any further questions regarding the financial support available, please enquire with Student Services at enrolment.

Two dedicated apprentices working in a local nursery are proving that it’s never too late to upskill, thanks to the Early Years Level 5 Apprenticeship offered at Bury College.
Our art students have brought a splash of colour and creativity to Bury Hospice with a striking new mural celebrating the spirit of the local community. Painted by students from the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, the mural features vibrant hydrangeas and iconic Manchester Bees, symbolising unity, resilience, and the six towns of Bury.
