To ensure a smooth start to your Engineering programme we have arranged for you to be able to view and purchase Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in practical sessions.
The PPE equipment required will cost approximately £45 and consist of the following:
Polo Shirts x 2 which you must wear every day to your lessons along with black trousers/jeans. (Tracksuits are not allowed) Navy blue work trousers for the workshop, protective work gloves and safety glasses.
Additional Polo’s tops can be purchased at £8.
Additional safety gloves can be purchased at £3
Additional safety goggles can be purchased at £3
Additional workshop trousers can be purchased at £20
Students will also require: Scientific calculator, pencils, black pens, ruler, protractor, compass, and notepad which can be purchased independently.

Lockers can also be purchased with a £10 deposit which is (returnable)
Steel toe cap boots are a mandatory requirement for these courses. These are to be purchased independently - advice will be given at enrolment.
In certain circumstances, the college can provide financial assistance for purchasing kit and/or equipment resources through the Financial Support Schemes – details of which are included in the enrolment pack. If you have any further questions regarding the financial support available, please enquire with Student Services at enrolment.
