About the vacancy
Level 2 childcare Apprentice to join our small and friendly nursery in Heywood. You will be supported throughout your course and be surrounded by an experienced team who will help and guide you to gain your qualification. You will be involved in planning and delivering high quality care to our children and maintaining our very high standards.
Carry out activities with the children
Plan activities to meet he needs of the children
Observe the children in their play
Ensuring all the children within the setting reach their full potential
Ensure the children are happy and thriving in a caring environment
Safeguard children
You will receive the following training:
Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
This is a work-based qualification with timetabled classes one day a month

Outcome
On completion of the apprenticeship you may be offered a full-time position.
The starting salary is £15,704 a year for 40 hours Monday to Friday - 7.00am and 6.00pm. Shift pattern to be agreed.
The apprenticeship will run for 1 Year 4 Months.
