At Sunning Hill Primary School we offer provision for children from the ages of 2 to 11. Our desire to ensure that every child achieves their full potential, is at the forefront of every interaction that we have with our children. Our nursery staff have considerable early years’ experience, to support you on your learning journey. Safeguarding is a priority and DBS checks will be undertaken and paid for by the school.

About the vacancy

Immediate start for someone to join our friendly team working in our early year’s unit. You will be supported throughout your course and be surrounded by an experienced team who will help and guide you to gain your qualification. Work experience in a nursery setting is essential.

• Delivering high quality care and education to all children
• Building a good relationship with the child and parents, as their key worker
• Following school routines and processes
• Working as part of the staff team
• General cleaning and hygiene of the setting
• Helping to serve snacks and meals to meet the nutritional requirements of children
• Organised & reliable
• Good communicator
• A positive outlook with a genuine love of children
• Intimate care (nappy changing)

You will receive the following training:

• Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
• This is a work-based qualification with monthly timetabled classes
