Our T Level Health courses combine classroom learning with industry placements, as students gain the skills to progress onto potential careers within the rewarding health sector.
This pioneering qualification has been designed in collaboration with leading employers to provide the skills businesses across the region need. The subject areas on offer reflect top business growth areas like Health and Social Care.
We spoke with several second-year students who are now planning their next steps and where these qualifications can take them.
Charlotte Orrell believes her T Level course has been an amazing step towards her goal of becoming a Midwife. The former Parrenthorn High School pupil said: “Starting a T Level has been an amazing step towards my goal of becoming a midwife. The education delivered by my tutors is helpful and provides me with the knowledge I can use for future opportunities.”
Grace Van Der Kamp has her heart set on becoming a Paramedic eventually. She said: “I have really appreciated that my tutors have health and nursing experience. That has made the lessons engaging. I'm now really excited about the future and dream of working as a Paramedic.”
Sienna-Rose Heyes is also an aspiring Paramedic. The former Harper Green pupil added: “The course has been great for my personal development. It has given me a great insight as to what it would be like to work in Health Care.”
