University Student Sets Sights on High Flying Career

An ambitious travel student is realising her career dream as she combines her university studies with industry experience.

Natalie Jennings started her career at Bury College is 2013 when she enrolled onto the Level 3 Travel and Tourism course. Identifying a passion for the Travel industry, Natalie chose to progress onto the International Tourism Management BSC (Hons) qualification and further explore the opportunities available in this dynamic sector.

20-year-old Natalie is completing her studies whilst working at Based at Manchester Airport, Natalie has undertaken the role of Passenger Service Agent where she is responsible for checking-in bags and boarding passengers onto flights.

The former Castlebrook High School pupil is currently undergoing training to work for in Geneva and Grenoble which she is hoping will lead her to her a job working for Emirates in Dubai.

During her university course, Natalie has also enjoyed an overseas residential to Dubai, which cemented her decision to eventually relocate to the hugely popular city known for its luxury shopping and famous architecture.

Natalie, from Bury, said, “I love working for The environment is fun and every day I am learning something new in an industry which I am interested in. My university studies have been great and I have received great support from my tutors. My trip to Dubai was amazing and made me realise how much I wanted to work for Emirates.”
