COLLEGE GIVES STUDENT SKILLS FOR FUTURE
An A-level learner has credited the exceptional experience he received at Bury College for giving him the confidence and skills to overcome adversity and secure great results.
Nick Brown completed his A-level studies in June and was delighted to achieve an A grade in Chemistry and B grades in Maths and C in Physics. These outstanding results will prepare the former Sharples School pupil to take the next steps in his career.
19 year old Nick chose Bury College to study A-levels following a great experience he received at an open event. Having Asperger’s Syndrome, Nick wanted to find a college which would offer a supportive and encouraging environment.
For the two years that Nick studied at Bury College, the student felt extremely well supported and was delighted to leave college with grades that reflected the hard work and dedication he has shown to his studies.
Nick said, “The tutors at Bury College went above and beyond to help me and were willing to support me with even the smallest of problems. I am really happy with my results.”
Sharon Brown, Nick Brown’s mother said, “We have had a fantastic experience at Bury College and the tutors have gone the extra mile to make Nick feel as comfortable as possible. Nick was offered one-to-one support and he was treated as an individual with his needs taken into consideration. Nick would not have achieved his amazing results without the help and support of the College. I cannot praise Bury College highly enough.”
