BUSINESS STUDENT CELEBRATES TOP GRADES
A hardworking Bury College Business student is a step closer to securing her career goal of becoming a Barrister after achieving two of the highest vocational grades possible and progressing on to a higher level diploma.
Jordan Oakes completed her Level 2 Business Diploma in June and achieved an exceptional double D*. Jordan chose Bury College because she wanted to gain the skills and confidence to progress onto university.
Jordan enrolled onto the Level 2 Business Studies course in September 2018 after securing her GCSE English and maths earlier in 2018. She believes it was the support and dedication from her Level 2 Business tutors that helped her to achieve the best results recorded in the past five years.
18 year old Jordan said, “I am really proud of myself to have secured such great results. It really proves that you can achieve anything that you put your mind to. During my studies I have really developed my confidence and I have received excellent support from my personal tutor who has always been on hand to help me.”
Jordan will now return to Bury College to continue her studies and undertake the Level 3 Business qualification. From there, Jordan would like to progress on to The University of Liverpool or Liverpool John Moores University.
