Bury College celebrated National Apprenticeship Week 2020 with a series of certificate presentations to exceptional apprentices.
The college is proud to have so many standout apprentices who are working hard towards securing industry-recognised qualifications whilst gaining on-the-job experience. Throughout National Apprenticeship Week, Gary Spann, Bury College Head of Employer Engagement, was delighted to meet with talented apprentices to celebrate their apprenticeship success so far.
From Business Administration and Laboratory Technician to Commis Chef and Early Years Educator, apprentices from a range of programmes were recognised for their hardwork.
Apprentice Elle Redman recently completed her Early Years Educator Level 3 apprenticeship at Wellington Villa Nursery in Bury. Elle has been appointed as Deputy Nursery Manager after impressing her employer with her knowledge and level of skills.
Elle said, “I would really recommend the apprenticeship route, it was great to receive hands-on experience and to have the opportunity to progress my career. I have gained a broad range of skills such as communication and problem solving whilst also managing nursery situations.”
Gary Spann added, “I was delighted to have the opportunity to meet with some of our exceptional apprentices. The college is extremely proud of our talented and ambitious apprentices who are working very hard towards their qualifications. I was equally as pleased to meet with many of our valued employers who are offering individuals life-changing apprenticeship opportunities and supporting them with their career progression.”
National Apprenticeship Week is an annual celebration of apprenticeships and highlights the impact of apprenticeships on individuals, employers and the economy.
