STUDENT SECURES OFFER FROM NORLAND COLLEGE
A Bury College Childcare student is celebrating receiving a coveted University offer from an institution famous for training an elite class of nannies.
Keeley Orrell is setting her sites on becoming a Norland Nanny as she aims to progress onto Bath’s Norland College. The highly renowned institution is recognised as a world class training establishment and specialist provider of early years training and education.
The former St James CE High School pupil is delighted to have been offered a place at the prestigious university. Keeley said, “I am so happy that I have been offered a place at Norland College. This will be a brilliant opportunity for me to learn a range of new skills in areas such as cooking, sewing and self-defense.”
Keeley, who is currently studying Level 3 Childcare, believes that the training she has received at Bury College has prepared her for the Early Years Development and Learning BA (Hons).
Keeley added, “I have really enjoyed my time at Bury College. I have had lots of great work experience placements including working a Nursery’s and Primary Schools which has really helped with my confidence.”
