BUSINESS MANAGER SECURES APPRENTICESHIP QUALIFICATION TO CLIMB CAREER LADDER
An ambitious hospital Business Manager completed a Bury College apprenticeship to help further professional development.
Nicola O’Brien has secured her Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor apprenticeship whilst working at Royal Bolton Hospital. Since completing her apprenticeship, Nicola has been promoted to Band 6 Business Support Manager and is delighted to have progressed her career and achieved her long-term goals.
Bury College apprenticeships have been designed to support individuals at whatever point they are at in their lives. Nicola chose to complete an apprenticeship for both her personal and professional development and as a result of completing an apprenticeship, now believes her interpersonal and empathy skills have developed.
Nicola said, “My apprenticeship has helped to increase my confidence in my every day work as I learnt skills in how to adapt and deal with various situations, as well as teaching me different ways of working. I would recommend Bury College Apprenticeships to anyone wishing to further their career or for their personal development. At times I found it quite hard-going and struggled to keep on track, but my tutor was extremely motivational and easily accessible.”
