The new logo for Bury College’s Business Academy has been decided after a competition amongst our Business students.
The students were tasked with creating a new logo for the department. The winning logo will now be used on all documents promoting the course and on the Bury College website.
The competition was won by first year Level 3 Business student Oluwadara Omotayo, 17. He said: “I hope to work in marketing eventually, so this was good practice for that.”
Speaking about the logo, the former Bolton St Catherine’s Academy student added: “The two hands featured represent how people and businesses need to come together to help people succeed.”
In recognition of his achievement, Oluwadara was presented with an award from Bury College Principal Charlie Deane.
Caitlin Bindley, one of the tutors guiding the next generation of entrepreneurs at Bury College, said: “It’s been great for the students putting their education into practice throughout the competition. There were some great designs, but Oluwadara’s really stood out.”
The Bury College Business Academy has courses ranging from Level 1 to Level 6, helping to create the entrepreneurs of the future.
