About the vacancy

The Operations Team controls and defines the day-to-day functionality of the company. We are seeking a dynamic, driven, personable individual with a passionate work ethic. The Operations environment is fast-paced, reactive, and demanding, which requires the ability to work under pressure and the ability to work as a team with fellow operators.

  • Following our daily processes with vehicle routing & planning
  • Over-seeing driver and vehicle maintenance compliance
  • Customer communications
  • Inputting/amending operational data
  • Building relationships with suppliers
  • Being involved in periodic quality audits
  • Interaction with internal and external customer service
  • Processing requests for information or action within the required deadlines
  • Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word skills
  • Good IT literacy
  • Good telephone and email manner
  • Generating/reviewing reports for management team

You will receive the following training:

Business Administrator L3 Standard.

College attendance is required for monthly group sessions.

We are seeking a candidate on a long-term permanent strategy that we can develop and train to a high standard of logistical excellence. Vocational accreditations such as:

  • Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
  • Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA)
  • First Aid
  • Mental Health First Aid
  • Health & Safety
  • Good Distribution Practice (GDP)

The starting salary is £17,680 a year for 40 hours Monday to Friday between 9.00am - 6.00pm..

The apprenticeship will run for 1 Year 6 Months, starting on Monday, April 14 2025. Applications close on Friday, April 04 2025.
