Safari Kindergarten is family run and aims to create a personal experience for families.
Safari Kindergarten is focused on giving each child the best start to their education, making the most of versatile facilities that include a selection of age-specific playrooms, as well as a separate sleep/restroom, open library/sensory room and large outdoor play area.The outdoor play area has a separate space for babies aged 0-2 years. A biometric security system is in place for parents' peace of mind and the team are well-trained and qualified in health and safety.
Playtime and activities are organised to meet key EYFS objectives, as the team looks to prepare children for the challenges of school life, though in a fun and friendly atmosphere where children can enjoy exploring and being creative.
About the vacancy
Immediate start to join our small and friendly team within a well-established nursery in Lowercroft. You will be working alongside a professional and experienced team, learning a range of skills to develop a career working in an Early Years setting. You will receive high-quality training in all aspects of childcare with the support of the Manager.
You will be trained to a high standard in all duties required of you involving keeping the children safe and enhancing their learning and play. This will include:
Ensuring the safety of children at all times
Supervising outdoor play
Supervising snacks and lunch
Supporting development through play
Carry out activities with the children
Preparing and feeding children
Keeping the nursery clean
To attend additional mandatory training to help with the role and ongoing CPD
Ensuring Safeguarding Procedures are followed
You will be supported throughout your training
You will receive the following training:
Early Years Practitioner L2 Standard
College attendance will be required one day a month

Outcome
On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you may be offered a permanent contract.
The starting salary is £11,778 a year for 30 hours Monday to Friday, between 8.00am - 6.00pm..
The apprenticeship will run for 1 Year 4 Months.
