About the vacancy
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and proactive individual to join our team working primarily within the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will be working in our 2YO and 3YO nursery alongside a professional and experienced team, learning a range of skills to develop a career working in an Early Year’s setting.
You will be trained to a high standard in all duties required of you involving keeping the children safe and enhancing their learning and play.
This will include:
- Ensuring safety of children at all times
- Supervising outdoor play
- Supervising snacks and lunch
- Supporting development through play
- Carry out activities with the children
- Preparing and feeding children
- Keeping the nursery clean
- Contribute to a safe, stimulating, and well-organised learning environment
- Assist children with SEND and SEMH needs, ensuring inclusive and nurturing support.
- To attend additional mandatory training to help with the role and on-going CPD
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment by following safeguarding procedures
- You will be supported throughout your training
You will receive the following training:
- Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
- Monthly time tabled classes

Outcome

The starting salary is £14,485.50 a year for 30 hours Monday - Friday, 8.45am - 3.15pm. Term time only (37 weeks per year).
The apprenticeship will run for 1 Year 4 Months.
