Forest School is a child-focused learning process, that offers opportunities for holistic growth. It is a long-term program that supports play, exploration and supported risk-taking. The children develop their confidence and self-esteem through learner-inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.
On the 12-week Forest School course, you will develop the skills needed to work in this type of educational setting. Your studies will predominantly be carried out in an outdoor environment, so you need to be prepared with suitable clothing and footwear suitable for all weathers.
Upon completion, you will have developed the ability to plan and deliver Forest School sessions.

Garden.”
Michael Acton added: “Being a retired grounds maintenance worker, I'm using the qualification to volunteer within a local primary school. It has allowed me focus on delivering my passion for outdoors and nature to young people.”
