
Bury College recently hosted a Higher Education Fair for its current learners, welcoming representatives from over 20 different universities.
To achieve the Level 3 Award in Education and Training, you will demonstrate an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a teacher/assessor and further explain the key factors of inclusive teaching and learning.
A short micro-teach is an essential part of the course as you start to demonstrate lesson preparation, delivery and reflection.
It is an accessory for future full-time teaching courses, for example, the CertEd and PGCE. It may also give an immediate opportunity for employment in a teaching/assessing role.

Assessment methods will be in the form of assignments which will need to be submitted by a given deadline. Assignments will be word processed therefore basic M/S words skills are needed.
In addition, an observation of a short microteach.
With this course, you may be entitled to a free Skills Kit. The kit will contain materials to help with your studies.

Two dedicated apprentices working in a local nursery are proving that it’s never too late to upskill, thanks to the Early Years Level 5 Apprenticeship offered at Bury College.
Our art students have brought a splash of colour and creativity to Bury Hospice with a striking new mural celebrating the spirit of the local community. Painted by students from the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, the mural features vibrant hydrangeas and iconic Manchester Bees, symbolising unity, resilience, and the six towns of Bury.
