The course is ideal for people with existing awareness and involvement in gym instruction who would like to develop their skills and knowledge to pursue a career in personal training. The Focus Awards Certificate in Personal Training is at Level 3 on the Regulated Qualifications Framework. It also provides access onto The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at Level 3.
Matthew Thompson recently completed the course, saying: “I have
enjoyed the course and have gained the experience I need in personal training to
enable me to pursue a career in the industry while continuing my
studies.”
Whilst studying this course, you will also be able to study for a Level 2 qualification in Nutrition. This online course will allow you to explore and consider nutritional needs of various individuals. You will also start to gain an understanding of how to use food and nutrition to plan a healthy diet.

Many of our adult learners pay for their Level 3 and above courses with an Advanced Learner Loan. If a loan is available this is indicated in the course details. It’s easy to apply, your household income isn’t taken into account and there are no credit checks. You only need to start paying back your Advanced Learner Loan when you are earning more than £25,000 per year.
