Bury College is pleased to share that the Government Incentive Payment scheme, aimed at supporting business to take on apprenticeships, has been further extended until the end of January 2022.
Incentive payments of £3,000 are available for each apprentice an employer recruits, regardless of age, with a further £1,000 available for any employer who recruits a 16 to 18-year-old apprentice.
These incentives are intended to support employers to build capacity and capability following the disruption of Covid-19, all while creating high quality opportunities for individuals and equipping them with skills that are in demand. Any employer who recruits an apprentice before the 31st of January is eligible for the incentive payments, subject to criteria.
