Friday May 20th 2022 saw Bury College mark #WorldDayForCulturalDiversity as we celebrated our diverse and multicultural staff and student population.
Diversity is about recognising, valuing, and celebrating the differences of the people at Bury College including staff, learners, visitors, and the extended communities.
We encouraged students to wear cultural attire for the day or clothes that represent the colours of their flag. There was also food shared and a DJ to help create a real carnival atmosphere.
We also had our Performing Arts students perform and sign ‘This Is Me’ and ‘Fame’ as part of the day. This was followed by an incredible range of dances from first-year student Kazim Ali.

Bury College is proud to be a diverse community, supporting students with backgrounds from all over the world. A small cross section of this diverse student population can be found in our Level 1 Business Studies class, who put on a great display showcasing their own range of culture.
