
Bury College recently hosted a Higher Education Fair for its current learners, welcoming representatives from over 20 different universities.
Not long after completing his Electrical Installation course, Dorian Martaus has started putting his knowledge into practice having begun his career at the place that initially trained him.
The former The Derby High School pupil achieved a Merit on both the Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installation courses and impressed staff throughout.
Dorian was delighted with the progress that he’s made since first walking through the Bury College doors. He said: “Since I started here, my confidence has improved and I feel a lot more knowledgeable. Now I’ve started working, I am excited about further developing my skills over the next few years.”

Our Electrical Installation courses have been designed to develop your skills and knowledge, enabling you to work in the industry as a trainee Electrician. Two dedicated apprentices working in a local nursery are proving that it’s never too late to upskill, thanks to the Early Years Level 5 Apprenticeship offered at Bury College.
Our art students have brought a splash of colour and creativity to Bury Hospice with a striking new mural celebrating the spirit of the local community. Painted by students from the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, the mural features vibrant hydrangeas and iconic Manchester Bees, symbolising unity, resilience, and the six towns of Bury.
