We caught up with a former Performing Arts student who looked back at his time at College and gave an overview of his exciting career.
Since leaving in 2019, Joshua Smart has appeared in several music videos and is due to feature in ‘How to date Billy Walsh’, an Amazon Prime film featuring Kunal Nayyar who played Raj in The Big Bang Theory.
In the video, he talks about the various accolades he achieved whilst a student at Bury College and gives some insight into his performing life so far.
Andy Tomlinson, Head of School of Performance at Bury College, added: “We are extremely proud of what Josh has achieved at college and since he left. He is a very talented dancer who, with Ellie Bennett, won the GMCG Music and Performing Arts Skills Overall Winner competition in 2019 and the prestigious national Showstopper Award. Josh has been a credit to himself in the way he has developed as a performer, and as a person, proving to be an excellent role model who continually comes back to inspire the next generation of performers at our School of Performance.”
