About the vacancy

A Level 2 Customer Service Apprentice is required. Immediate start with an exciting opportunity for an individual enthusiastic, dedicated apprentice, seeking a new challenge, keen to learn and would like a career in joining our small and friendly team. We are a fast paced and growing business based at Orplex in Bury. Duties include: general office duties including answering the telephone and passing on messages in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Live interaction with internal and external customers
  • Understanding the core values of the organisation
  • General office duties including answering the telephone and passing on messages in an efficient and timely manner
  • Updating spreadsheets in Excel and on a Smartsheet document
  • Updating office systems and responding to general customers requests by email
  • Keeping the meeting room diary up to date on a weekly basis
  • Process requests for hospitality, stationery and operate a stock ordering and control system replenishing stock
  • Book/cancel meeting rooms and pool vehicles as requested and be responsible for hospitality
  • Assist with the input, maintenance and interrogation of record systems both manual and electronic
  • Handling enquiries from internal and external customers
  • Discuss customer needs
  • To assist with the production of documents and other correspondence
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as required including providing cover where appropriate

You will receive the following training:

  • Customer Service Practitioner L2 Standard
  • College attendance will be required one day a month.

Outcome

On completion of the apprenticeship, a possible full time job may be offered.

The starting salary is £12,313.60 for 37 hours Monday to Thursday: 8.30am – 5.00pm Friday: 8.00am – 4.00pm.

The apprenticeship will run for 16 Months, starting on Monday, July 29 2024. Applications close on Friday, July 19 2024.
