Our nursery staff have considerable early years’ experience, to support you on your learning journey.

About the vacancy

Immediate start for someone to join our friendly team working in our early year’s unit. You will be supported throughout your course and be surrounded by an experienced team who will help and guide you to gain your qualification. You will be involved in delivering high quality care to our children and maintaining our very high standards.

  • Delivering high quality care and education to all children
  • Building a good relationship with the child and parents, as their key worker
  • Following school routines and processes
  • Working as part of the staff team
  • General cleaning and hygiene of the setting
  • Helping to serve snacks and meals to meet the nutritional requirements of children

  • Intimate care (nappy changing)

You will receive the following training:

Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Standard

This is a work-based qualification with monthly timetabled classes.

Outcome

Possibility of a fixed term contract on completion, dependant on nursery numbers.

A range of additional training courses including first aid, prevent, FGM, GDPR & Cyber.


The starting salary is £19,630 a year for 36 hours Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.00pm Friday 8.30am - 2.30pm.

The apprenticeship will run for 1 Year 4 Months.
