You will gain a sound understanding of fundamental principles such as Mechanical Principles, Engineering Maths and Electrical Principles before progressing to specialist Engineering subjects.
This will ensure you have developed the skills needed to practically apply your knowledge in the second year of the course where the units of study become more specific to your chosen pathway and have clear links to the occupational competency required in the workplace.

You have the opportunity to progress onto the Engineering HNC course at Bury College University Centre and/or progress into careers including:
