About the vacancy

We are looking for a Finance Apprentice to support the day-to-day administration and duties within the school finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is working to achieve their AAT qualification and looking to take the next steps in a finance role.

  • Use of accountancy software Iplicit as well as Excel, Outlook and Teams to record financial transactions
  • Administration duties including telephone enquiries and e-mails
  • Purchase ledger processes including placing orders, processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements and generating supplier payment runs
  • Supporting with the preparation of month end and year end accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of VAT reports
  • Setting up and managing trips on the school parent portal

The starting salary is £12,760.00 for 36.25 hours Monday to Friday 8:00am to 3:45pm Term Time Only *One of these days will be in college.
