Bury College Art and Media students have recently been collaborating with Alison Hamilton, a clothing and costume designer, and Katie Douglas at Bury Creatives.
The topics studied on this course are:
- Health, safety and welfare in construction and associated industries (unless completed at Level 1)
- Understanding information, quantities and communicating with others
- Understanding construction technology
- Set out masonry structures
- Construct masonry cladding
- Construct solid walling incorporating isolated and attached piers
- Construct cavity walling and forming masonry structures
Future career opportunities may include:
- Bricklayer
- Sub-Contractor
- Construction Operative
- Private Business Owner
