Applying for our apprenticeship vacancies could not be simpler. You will then need to complete the details in the next window and upload your CV. Once we have received your application you will be invited into college for a 30 minute interview and if necessary, to complete maths and/ or English assessments. If you pass this stage we will forward your CV to the employer who will then decide to invite you for the second interview.
About the vacancy
Immediate start to join our skilled and friendly team within a well-established nursery. You will be working in the nursery alongside a professional and experienced team, learning a range of skills to develop a career in an Early Years setting. You will receive high quality training in all aspects of Childcare with the support of the manager.
- Ensuring the safety of children at all times
- Supervising outdoor play
- Supporting development through play
- To plan and carry out activities
- Preparing and feeding children
- Keeping the nursery clean
- Dealing with parents and any paperwork that needs to be completed
- To attend additional training as required i.e. First Aid
- To ensure that all Safeguarding Procedures are followed
- You will be supported throughout your training and treated as a valuable member of staff
You will receive the following training:
- Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard

Outcome
- On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you may be offered a permanent contract
The starting salary is £13,520 a year for 40 hours Monday - Friday; between 8.00am - 5.00pm (breaks to be confirmed)..
The apprenticeship will run for 1 Year 4 Months, starting on Monday, January 20 2025. Applications close on Friday, January 10 2025.
