About the vacancy

Come and join our small but busy office. We’re looking for a positive, energetic apprentice to work here at Aarhus Fire. You would need to be hard working, have a friendly nature, be confident, and be able to learn how to deal with customers via e-mail, in person and over the phone in a professional manner.

  • Live Interaction with internal and external customers

  • Handling of complex queries/complaints
  • Printing off orders daily
  • Understanding the core values of the business
  • Telephone enquiries/answering emails
  • General admin duties
  • Receiving deliveries
  • Assisting accounts with daily duties
  • Organising events
  • Administration of company vehicles e.g MOT, Tax, services etc
  • Fast reaction to incoming emails on helpdesk
  • Managing and handing out call outs to the engineers
  • Forwarding enquiries to the appropriate department
  • Raise defect quotes from engineer’s reports
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Day to day cleanliness of the stores and stock levels
  • Ordering parts for scheduled works
  • Picking parts for scheduled works
  • Taking deliveries and putting away
  • Setting up jobs
  • Scheduling in works for the install department 2 weeks in advanced and booking in with customers

You will receive the following training:

Customer Service Practitioner L2.

This is a work-based qualification with monthly college attendance.

Outcome

On completion of the probation period, you will be eligible for the Attendance Bonus and on completion of the apprenticeship you may be considered for a role within the company.

The starting salary is £15,704 a year for 40 hours Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm..

The apprenticeship will run for 1 Year 4 Months, starting on Monday, April 14 2025. Applications close on Friday, April 04 2025.
