This course is aimed at those looking to work within the strength and conditioning sector.
It will provide you with the specific knowledge and understanding required to plan, design, and instruct effective sports conditioning sessions. With all sports having a wide range of specific fitness requirements, this course will support you to apply your knowledge into your sport.

Whichever level you’re starting at, our range of sports and fitness courses are aimed at enhancing your career prospects within this constantly evolving industry.
The course
consists of 8 units:
· Understand the Fundamentals of Coaching Sport
· Understand how to Develop Participants Through Coaching Sport
· Supporting participants lifestyle through coaching sport
· Understanding the principles of safe and equitable coaching practice
· Plan a short series of linked strength and conditioning for sport coaching sessions
· Prepare the Strength and Conditioning environment for Sport Coaching Sessions
· Deliver a series of strength and conditioning coaching sessions for Sport
· Monitor and evaluate a series of strength and conditioning sport coaching sessions
You will be assessed internally through a series of in class assessments, portfolio work booklets and practically to demonstrate competency.
Once you have completed this course, you could progress onto the Planning & delivering Personal Training Level 3 and further develop your skills.

Many of our adult learners pay for their Level 3 and above courses with an Advanced Learner Loan. If a loan is available this is indicated in the course details. It’s easy to apply, your household income isn’t taken into account and there are no credit checks. You only need to start paying back your Advanced Learner Loan when you are earning more than £25,000 per year.
